Just a a roundup of vintage pieces I gathered during my recent candle sconce rabbit hole. If I had more space/ a more traditional home I would have snatched some of these up, but since I can’t buy them I’ll just fawn over them on the blog :

This is my favorite – I love the floral embossed details and the rich gold. I might still buy this if I can find the space for it tbh!

This would be perfect for a more rustic cottage or country style home – The scalloped edges are a sweet detail in contrast to the aged metal, and I think it’s nicely proportioned.

Another one I’m still seriously considering buying is this statement piece. The verdigris patina is what caught my eye – it’s a lovely subtle color that feels less flashy than the polished brass finish that’s more common. I could see this working as a statement piece, even in a more modern or transitional home.

I saved these because of the Delft painting on the backplates, it’s something I haven’t seen on any other sconces in my search so far, a feels unique!

These remind me of something that would hang in a palace – but would be right at home in a house with big rooms and high ceilings.

This silver sconce looks more subdued than the brass versions, while still adding visual interest in the detailing – would be perfect for a transitional room in need of subtle vintage decor.
