Lately I’ve been struggling to finish projects. I keep getting 90% there and then moving on to another, so this is a quick brain dump of everything I’d been working on.
1. First off, I couln’t stop thinking about prize ribbons, I kept seeing vintage cockades, and aesthetic collages, so I decided to make some. Now I have a whole bunch of cute little award ribbons and nothing to do with them. Bag charms maybe? IDK I love them but have no idea where to put them.
I’ve since moved on to rosette making – And I’ve got a 4th of july hybrid rosette prize ribbon in the making.
2. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to make a faux flower arrangement that could pass as the real thing. I mastered a fake water looking gelatin substance only for the company to discontinue it- I’ll be trying deep pour resin next.
3. I created a little pizza themed party menu for a friend that was hosting a bachelorette. I’ve been wanting to work on more hosting related designs & love being able to create something unique for my friends.
What’s inspired me lately:
- Unexpected shoe laces like climbing rope – I feel like I could do something like this myself?
2. Excessively chunky gold charms, on a necklace, on a purse, doesn’t matter. I might even put some on my sneakers?
3. This photo. Not anything specific just that it’s so cute. I love the matching pink, the ocean in the background, and the composition, looking at it feels like scratching an itch in my brain.
